and my beautiful Janina.

two days ago Janina helped me to make tissue flowers (soon to be used for images), and I asked her if I can take few portraits of her too, because she is this beautiful wild child natural looking girl :)

She is also amazing photographer, the best one polaroid capturer : Janina Fleckhaus

So, here is all of them. I didn't want to upload only the ones I like 101%, I like to show all the ones I chose to be OK and from each 'pair' there is only ONE I like and I think has came out ok, obv I see these things I could change and re-do, but I don't believe in re-doing image/idea. :)

Espressini cafe is my favourite cafe in Falmouth. The atmosphere always is great to spend more than 3h... yes, I can do it. I just love to do my sketchbooks somewhere else isntead of being home or in university. So, finally there is this cafe which sort of gives me a feeling I am somewhere in bigcity, for example, in London but in one of those areas like Soho, or smth, sitting there, drinking my awesome coffee and eating the best italian cheesytomato sandwich!

The owner even makes his own sandwiches every morning! And he can talk so much about coffee, they use differnt type beans and etc. I still haven't understood all that bit what they do/use for their coffee.. Should ask  next time!

Everything about this cafe is great. And I know it has bright future :)

 

I asked him if I can do some photos in their cafe- a sort of practise for myself as commercial photogrpahy etc. And turned out he actually needed some, so, uh-oh a bit pressure on me to make good photos... I hope he will like at least 5, if I like 10, he msut like 3 of them! So, fingers crossed :) I want to become better at these sort of photogrpahy shots! Hopefully, after uni I will have possibility to do.. (:

 

 

and p.s. there are still some shots/ideas/usuall stuff I didnt manage to do... The moment when the steams are around the coffee cup when they make coffee or is that hot milk on that machine, I dont know what they do then, I havent been a barista, but.... That one special moment- havent captured!

Each bubble consists with one my thought or story,or secret. Each time I made one, I put these words in this one thread....

At the moment I am doing project "we others". It is a collection of portraits International and EU students in Cornwall (UOE, UCF). Which shows how despite external difference we all are the same.  (2010)

I got a box from home full with goodies, then I finally have understood my time table, then I had my first vegan meal with crazy norwegian Henrik and his lovely English lady Tiffany at their awesome flat where's their kitchen used to be a toilet which queen Victoria has probably several times, as she has stayed in that house.

Also I've seen little students walking up the high street dressed in funny cloths and turns out it was HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FALMOUTH!

This first week of uni has been nice. Only timetable is shocking and etc, but hopefully everything will be alright!
