I edited this galerry last summer, and found yesterday deeply hidden on my hard drive. I put together these photos because last summer, I knew I won't come home for the summer, and I really was upset, because I knew the ebst summers are in Latvia. And all these little memories from my summers till 2010 for a little bit could make me happy, just seeing all this together.

It was funny to watch how excited she was about Cornwall. I was not that much, I've been here for too long that I don't really appreciate this beauty around us...

And this was yesterday on Wednesday. All three of us , a very funny and silly trio, giggling a lot and talking strange things, and arguing about Latvian food, haha.

I think I had more interesting "Līgo" when I was a child. Then youth and older people celebrated it better! and I always thought it will be the same to me when I grow up. So, kind of wish that Latvia was stuck in 90s - because while we were trying to reach the modern life, the same time we paid attention to keep our nationality and our treasures of culture - the vivid and strong traditions what we have. But in present a lot aprents have not paid attention to teach their kids (my generation and younger) to respect their country/nationality and its culture.

But however, some people are still doing traditional Midusmmer's night, only we have forgotten why we do all these interesting (and strange things to Western world) that actually; there's no one who could tell us, sadly.
