THE SECRET SOVIET BUNKER IN LIGATNE.

My title says a lot how I felt visiting this place. I must say, I really did enjoy and like to see this Soviet bunker, as the guide was saying not many bunkers are looking in this good condition in Latvia. At this excursion they even were giving a soviet period style lunch - we got pelmeņi, which nowadays is  such a student food! 

Really interesting! But scary to think that what if they would have had to use this bunker? Ehm.

Accidentily we made our own little pre-birthday bash. It was a evening before her big day, so, we were watching some silly romantic and not-so romantic movies (childhood's classic) and drinking wine, eating chocolate biscuits. And as we both are skinny dipping buddies, we thought- why not this time too? We went to river Daugava, and surprise surprise there were few people but on the other side on the same coast, but as soon as we got in, there were a couple who decided to come for a swim too, haha, but we managed to get out before they see us, so we walked a little bit further where none could disturb us and there we had a proper skinny dipping, fantastic! And then we sang songs such as " Daudz baltu dienin...."  and other latvian stuff :)

splendid idea!!!! water was so super warm. the sky was so beautiful.

I edited this galerry last summer, and found yesterday deeply hidden on my hard drive. I put together these photos because last summer, I knew I won't come home for the summer, and I really was upset, because I knew the ebst summers are in Latvia. And all these little memories from my summers till 2010 for a little bit could make me happy, just seeing all this together.
